Printing FAQ

These answers cover the most common paper, scale, orientation, and duplex-printing questions when printing an MTG Deck Card PDF.

The Deck Card does not fit on my paper sheet

  • Choose the same paper size in your printer application as the paper size selected in Step 2 of the generator.
  • Check that the printer orientation matches the orientation used to create the PDF.
  • Set the printer scale to 100% or Actual Size. Avoid Fit to Page or other automatic scaling when accurate card dimensions matter.

The back side of my two-sided print is upside down

  • For landscape prints, try flipping on the short edge to keep the back panels in the intended orientation.
  • For portrait prints, try flipping on the long edge.
  • Printer drivers use different names for these settings, so test one sheet before printing a complete decklist.

The front and back do not align

Duplex alignment depends on the printer model and its paper-feed accuracy. If the front and back panels are strongly misaligned, print the two sides separately and glue or tape them together after checking the panel order.

The preview looks upside down

The PDF preview can show panels upside down because some panels are rotated for the final fold. This is normally expected. Follow the folding guide for the selected accordion, cross-accordion, or map layout.
